This website showcases a collection of my recent paintings as well as an archive of older pieces.

 

I mostly work with traditional painting media but also utilize the computer as an additional tool to create my images. My work ranges from representational to abstraction. I am interested in the challenges painting presents - the medium used and the creation of an image within that medium.

 

Originally from Mexico and raised in Los Angeles, California - I am a graduate of Art Center College of Design and I work as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer through my studio, sketchmonster.  When not busy on an illustration or design project, I am usually in the studio painting.
